A couple of weeks ago I was lucky enough to be invited along to a VIP blogger event by GlamCandy Makeup School based here in Edinburgh where we were treated to the Glamourize Masterclass.
Nikki decided to show us two different takes on the classic smokey eye; one neutral and one party look thats perfect for the festive season.
I decided to try the purple party look as I normally wear neutral eyes and fancied something a bit different for this years parties. Nikki was really helpful and gave us all tips on how to best adjust the looks to fit our colouring, and face and eye shapes.
The brushes in the kit are fantastic quality with a range of sizes for eyeshadow application and blending, as well as super soft brushes perfect for blush and contour. My favourite brushes are the angled blender brush, the fluffy blender brush which is a dupe for the MAC 217, and the eyeliner brush - I managed to get the finest line with this which has always been tricky for me.
My finished look
I had a fantastic evening with the team who were all so lovely! I'd definitely recommend having a look at their masterclasses here - would be a perfect gift for someone who loves beauty or feels in a rut with their current makeup.
Even better news though! I have a special discount code for you all to get an amazing £50 off the GlamCandy 24 piece pro brush set that we were provided with! Just visit the GlamCandy website here to get your very own brush set for £25 instead of the normal £75 - bargain!
